Trailer Talk: THE INCREDIBLE BURT WONDERSTONE – 2013

Published by Shah Shahid on

Jim Carrey vs. Steve Carrell. Need I say more? Check out both of them and more in THE INCREDIBLE BURT WONDERSTONE Trailer below.

It’s the original funny man turned serious actor Jim Carrey, going head to head (fictionally) in a movie with a guy whose career path, I think, reflects Carrey’s. Steve Carrell also started out as a funny guy, but intentionally or unintentionally, his career has taken him down a serious actor path.

amazing!

But none of that boring melodrama here! THE INCREDIBLE BURT WONDERSTONE is about a has-been old-fashioned Vegas Magician, who’s becomes too dated for the new audience. Competing directly with a modern badass Magician, (who looks like he’s fashioned after Criss Angel) the longhaired, freaky deaky Jim Carrey.

This is great. Along with some great pop culture references to how the world of Magic has gone from talent and skill to just sensationalistic crap… this movie genuinely looks funny. Steve Carrell is always on, and Jim Carrey looks like he’s in the best shape of his career, comedically I mean, of course.

THE INCREDIBLE BURT WONDERSTONE also has Olivia Wilde and Alan Arkin as the inspiration behind Carrell’s career choice. It looks pretty damn good and an awesome good time.

legends…

I know Comedy genres aren’t everyone’s thing… so are you looking forward to this movie when it releases on March 15th, 2013? Let me know in the comments below…

I was had the same reaction seeing the poster of Steve Carrell. I usually don’t Preview / Review comedies… but how can I not with these two gigantic comics teaming up?!

Both these guys are amazing actors, comedy movies or otherwise.
