Trailer Talk: NOVEMBER 2014
“Trailer Talk” is about anticipated upcoming films and movies definitely worth keeping an eye out for. Sometimes I make predictions, and we get to see if I’m right or wrong after the movie releases.
After a crowded October, Trailer Talk takes a look at November’s most awaited movies. After FOXCATCHER, INTERSTELLAR is my pick of the month! Take a look and let me know what you’re looking forward to this month!
INTERSTELLAR (November 7th, 2014)
This is Christopher Nolan’s first film after The Batman Trilogy, with one of the best actors of this generation in a extraordinary story with breathtaking visuals. With a cast that includes Anne Hathaway, Matthew MacCounaghey, Casey Affleck & Jessica Chastain, this should be a mindblowingly epic movie. Also, a quick glimpse at IMDB reveals that different actors play the young and old versions of some characters, which makes me think there’s some time jumps in this movie as well.
BIG HERO 6 (November 7th, 2014)
Disney’s next shows up as an almost looking like a kind of anime style story about a boy and his robot, a Michelin Man looking blimp, who is super hilarious and is completely the opposite of how we expect pet robots to be. This movie looks to be an awesome adventure story that should be good for the whole family.
THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING (November 7th, 2014)
The outrageously inspirational biographical movie of the life of Dr. Stephen Hawking, the biggest contributor in the world of our understanding of the universe, looks to be an awe-inspiring masterpiece.
21 YEARS: RICHARD LINKLATER (November 7th, 2014)
A great documentary about the career of visionary filmmaker Richard Linklater, who recently released BOYHOOD, a movie that was literally 12 years in the making. Many appearances by almost all of Hollywood.
FOXCATCHER (November 14th, 2014)
When you hear about a movie starring Channing Tatum, Steve Carrell & Mark Ruffalo, you’d think of a comedy. But FOXCATCHER is anything but with what seems to be incredible performances by all three actors in a story that looks uniquely twisted and intense.
THE HOMESMAN (November 14th, 2014)
Directed by Tommy Lee Jones, THE HOMESMAN gives us Hillary Swank after a long time. Known for her rivetingly intense performances, this one would definitely be worth a look, especially to see Tommy Lee Jones co-starring as a hapless gun-slinger hired to protect a woman who seems to be more badass than him. The cast also looks amazing.
ROSEWATER (November 14th, 2014)
Comedian and fake news pundit John Stewart’s first directorial venture in ROSEWATER is highly anticipated as it looks breathtakingly poignant. Anxious to see how this genius of a comedian can showcase a serious political issue based on a true story in a moving light.
THE IMITATION GAME (November 21st, 2014)

Benedict Cumberpatch is an actor on the rise, and this movie looks to be a thrilling drama. THE IMITATION games looks riveting and has just enough of a conspiracy theory bend to it to be looking forward to this month.
These are all the movies that I’m anticipating during the month of November 2014. My Movie of the Month is INTERSTELLAR!
