Trailer Talk: NOVEMBER 2014 (Bollywood Edition)
“Trailer Talk” is about anticipated upcoming films and movies definitely worth keeping an eye out for. Sometimes I make predictions, and we get to see if I’m right or wrong after the movie releases.
Trailer Talk looks at Bollywood’s releases in November 2014. This month sees a pretty interesting and varied releases, mostlyu light hearted affairs that look fun and enjoyable.
RANG RASIYA (November 7th, 2014)
Randeep Hooda, one of the most underrated actors in Bollywood finally gets a leading role. Granted it’s a small almost indie film about the real life of a painter, it’s still an eccentric enough period film to be excited for. Plus it’s only fitting that November, a.k.a. Movember, starts off with a movie where the lead sports, what seem to be, a variety of Moustaches.
THE SHAUKEENS (November 7th, 2014)

While there seems to be some funny scenes, this looks like it’s about like horny old men trying to get with a young hottie. The only upside of this is Akshay Kumar playing a drunken and douchebaggy version of himself.
KILL DIL (November 14th, 2014)
Despite it’s name, KILL DILL is not a remake of Tarantino’s masterpiece. It looks to be an oddball dark action movie with a great cast. Govinda’s making a comeback with 2 movies releasing this month. The entire film seems to have a 90’s vibe to it. And given that it’s Shaad Ali’s first film since JHOOB BARABAR 7 years ago, KILL DILL is my Pick Of The Month!
HAPPY ENDING (November 21st, 2014 )
Saif Ali Khan has had mostly misses with his home productions, desptie the movies having immense potential. HAPPY ENDING looks to be a very meta film about a has-been writer trying to make a Bollywood film. The best thing about this is Govinda as the sleazy Studio Producer who goes balls out in this performance!
UNGLI (November 28th, 2014)
UNGLI (Finger) seems like the most original story releasing this month with a group of rebellious activists trying to change the world through poetic justice. Literally giving the finger to the powers that be are an awesome star cast led Emraan Hashmi & Randeep Hooda. UNGLI is definitely the wild card this month.
