Movie Review: JODHAA AKBAR (2008)
JODHAA AKBAR is an epic love story that suffers from bad filmmaking & a dull linear storytelling that has 2 stories sandwiched together

Season 3 of a potentially awesome show, HEROES, continues to suck. This season directly mimics Marvel Comics’ CIVIL WAR story arc… but they don’t do it well.
Clint Eastwood gets behind the Director’s chair yet again, in GRAN TORINO, and he is no less bad ass than in any of his other roles!
BRONSON is a cinematic overture of the mind and inner workings of a psychopathic, played to perfection by Tom Hardy in his best role to date!
A WEDNESDAY is a small, but brilliant movie with a new twist on the typical ‘Urban Terrorist’ story. A must watch, if no other reason but to see Naseeruddin Shah & Anupam Kher together!
WOLVERINE: OLD MAN LOGAN is an awesome story about how the Villains won, and how the Wolverine we know, has been defeated.
My Review of Season 3 of a contradictory show where we root for the killer to get away with it… DEXTER!
J. J. Abrams takes, an eccentric guy who believes in the impossible, a genius skeptic and an FBI Agent who’s personally invested in the wierd, and creates the only mainstream successful sci-fi TV series on the air right now. Check out my review of Season 1 of X-FILE— I mean FRINGE!
The narration in the beginning of JAANE TU… YA JAANE NA, mocks the formulaic aspects of an Indian love story, so it right away sets the tone for the rest of the film. And it actually works.
Highway to Hell. Or in Dean Winchester’s case– from Hell! The opening for Season 4 of SUPERNATURAL sets the tone for the rest of the season…
TRUE BLOOD is at first an all out Vampire show that reminds us of the good ol’ days when vampires were feared, and the lights were turned down during a vampire movie.
