TALES FROM 1,001 ARABIAN NIGHTS is a very ambitious book. Featuring stories within stories within stories, it doesn’t follow the conventional sequential storylines, however does provide a lot of insight into classics like Aladdin, Ali Baba, Sindbad The Sailor and so on…
So, 10 years after the sequel to the original WIZARD OF OZ story, comes the sequel to that, as SON OF A WITCH. A story that covers events right after the original WIZARD OF OZ, SON OF A WITCH runs out of steam pretty quickly, and that novelty wears off…
I was as big a fan of THE WIZARD OF OZ as much the next film-geek. So I was excited to read a sort of prequel to the overall story of THE WIZARD OF OZ that came in the form of WICKED. And I wouldn’t given a shit at all about the new Sam Raimi movie but now… *squeals*
